The CHARD PROJECT is handcrafted from fine California Chardonnay grapes coming from a variety of AVA’s including Sonoma, Monterey, and the Russian River Valley. The wine is about half stainless-steel fermented and half barrel fermented with partial malolactic. A portion of the blend is aged on the lees, and the final blend spends 5 months in 10% new French oak. This combination gives The Chard Project a rich, lovely mouthfeel. Pure CHARD aromas and flavors – fresh apples and citrus, and kissed with a touch of oak.
